Alina is a Senior Attorney at Carson, Clelland & Schreder and focuses her practice in all areas of family law, including divorce, child custody, paternity, asset and debt division, spousal maintenance, child support, and domestic abuse (including both Orders for Protection and Harassment Restraining Orders).
While in law school at University of Oregon, Alina interned at the South African Human Rights Commission and attended the Oxford Consortium for Human Rights. She also served as a certified student attorney at Tubman, a Twin Cities non-profit providing legal representation to survivors of domestic violence, where she represented clients in Orders for Protection and other family law matters. Following graduation, Alina clerked for former Ramsey County Family Law Referee James Street.
Since completing her clerkship, Alina has practiced almost exclusively in family law. She worked for legal aid and most recently at Hennepin County Self-Help, assisting individuals without attorneys in navigating complex family law matters. Her experience gives her unique insight into the challenges clients face and the importance of clear communication and guidance throughout the legal process. Outside of work, Alina enjoys all things gymnastics, gardening, yoga, reading, and spending time with her two dogs. Alina is dedicated to her community and serves on two non-profit boards.
